Welcome to CAAR-GB, a warm and welcoming British car club driven by the passion of its members. We’re a community of classic and vintage car enthusiasts who love nothing more than exploring the world’s most scenic routes on leisurely, non-competitive rallies.
Our Ethos: Members First
As a non-profit club, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional rally experiences at cost price. Our rallies are meticulously planned by our members, ensuring they deliver exactly what we all cherish:
- Intriguing Destinations: We seek out fascinating places of interest, from historical landmarks to hidden gems.
- Exhilarating Drives: Our routes are carefully designed to offer stimulating and enjoyable driving experiences.
- Comfort and Cuisine: We prioritise comfortable, quality hotels and delicious meals, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable journey.
- Camaraderie and Connection: We foster a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where members can connect and share their passion.
- Exploration and Relaxation: We incorporate regular two-to-three-day stops, allowing ample time to explore and immerse ourselves in each location.
- Balanced Journeys: We maintain reasonable daily mileages, ensuring a comfortable and manageable pace.
- Exceptional Value: We’re committed to providing outstanding experiences that represent excellent value for money.
- Vehicle Enjoyment: Above all, our rallies are about giving our cherished classic and vintage cars a good run.
A Diverse Community
We take pride in our diverse membership, welcoming enthusiasts from all walks of life. Unlike single-marque clubs, we celebrate the rich tapestry of classic and vintage automobiles. To join us, you should have a genuine desire to participate in our rallies and be willing to contribute your ideas and energy to the planning and organisation of future adventures.
Staying Connected
Our regular newsletters serve as a vital communication channel, keeping members informed about club activities, upcoming events, and future plans. We also encourage members to share their experiences, stories, and insights, fostering lively discussions and a sense of community.
Rally Organisation and Planning
We hold two Rally Organisation Group meetings each year in captivating locations, providing an opportunity to explore the surrounding areas. Our April meeting includes the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
We actively encourage members to attend these meetings and present their rally ideas. This collaborative process allows us to evaluate potential routes, develop detailed costings, and present comprehensive proposals to the wider CAAR-GB membership.
